Here is a unique law firm, an outstanding IP practice that enjoys an award winning reputation. The team now seeks a Trademarks Registry Paralegal to support them. This role will require a bright and enthusiastic individual who is keen to work in a team of 3, supporting Paralegals and fee earners.
The ideal candidate will be motivated, established in Trademark administration, likely to have 2 years Trademark Formalities experience. If you hold the CITMA certificate, that will be great too. You no doubt want to join a highly regarded Trademark team within a highly celebrated firm.
The role will involve –
- Accurately recording and maintaining deadlines for all matters in the practice database.
- Diligently monitoring deadlines and ensuring they are met.
- Preparing and filing trade mark and design applications.
- Preparing and filing all registry forms including for oppositions and recordals.
- Reporting and carrying out trade mark and design renewals (experience not a requirement).
- Preparing initial cost estimates for trade mark and design filings.
- Preparing trade mark and design schedules for clients.
- Onboarding new client portfolios.
- Maintaining and updating the database of foreign agents and client allocation lists.
- Keeping abreast of updates in UK, EUIPO, and international trade mark practices.
