Senior to Associate Building Surveyor
Would a role focused almost entirely on commercial office refurbishment projects as a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor in Manchester interest you?
I’m working with a Building Surveying consultancy based in Manchester city centre, where around 90% of the work is within Manchester itself, giving it a genuine client-side feel through long-term relationships and repeat work rather than constantly chasing one-off instructions.
The role would suit a Building Surveyor who enjoys Contract Administration and Project Management, with the split being roughly:
• 80-90% Contract Administration / Project Management
• Dilapidations
• No wider professional services work
Projects are predominantly cut & carve office refurbishments up to £2m, working for major investment funds, Aviva and large retail occupiers, with the occasional industrial project.
A few things that stood out to me:
• Salary up to £80,000
• Genuine client-side feel with long-standing commercial clients.
• Projects based almost entirely in Manchester.
• Opportunity to help establish and run a future Warrington office.
• Senior Surveyors and above have received five-figure bonuses every year for the past 15 years.
