Senior Clinical Science Leader – Alzheimer’s Disease | Global Opportunity

We are supporting a leading organisation at the forefront of advancing brain health and cognitive assessment technologies, who are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Science Leader specialising in Alzheimer’s Disease to join their growing scientific team.
This is a unique opportunity for a senior scientific expert to play a key role in shaping clinical trial strategies, supporting global pharmaceutical partners, and advancing approaches to cognitive endpoint management within Alzheimer’s and neurodegenerative disease research.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted scientific advisor, partnering with sponsors, clinical teams, and internal stakeholders to provide expertise across endpoint strategy, data quality, cognitive assessments, and rater quality programmes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide scientific leadership and consultation across Alzheimer’s Disease clinical trial programmes.
- Support sponsor discussions, proposal development, and scientific bid presentations.
- Advise on endpoint strategy, cognitive assessments, and quality management approaches.
- Develop and implement strategies to support endpoint quality and data integrity.
- Lead rater training initiatives, including training content development, evaluation criteria, and remediation activities.
- Support scientific publications, conference presentations, and thought leadership activities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with clinical operations, data science, technology, and scientific teams.
- Build strong relationships with sponsors, clinical experts, and key opinion leaders within the Alzheimer’s research community.
About You:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical Neuropsychology, Clinical Psychology, or related discipline.
- Significant experience supporting Alzheimer’s Disease clinical trials (essential).
- Strong understanding of neurodegenerative disease research and cognitive endpoints.
- Experience across early and late-stage clinical studies.
- Expertise in areas such as:
- Endpoint strategy
- Cognitive assessments
- Endpoint quality management
- Rater training and quality programmes
- Clinical outcome assessments (COAs)
- Established scientific credibility through publications, presentations, or thought leadership.
- Comfortable acting as a scientific partner with pharmaceutical sponsors and external stakeholders.
