The Opportunity
As a Recruiter at PSC Biotech, you will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with our sourcing team and hiring stakeholders to attract, assess, and secure high-calibre talent across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, engineering, quality, validation, manufacturing, and technical operations disciplines.
This role requires a proactive and results-oriented recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving placement targets, building talent pipelines, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing and screening through interviewing, offer management, and successful placement.
- Partner with PSC Biotech’s sourcing team to identify and engage high-quality candidates using job boards, social media platforms, professional networks, referrals, talent communities, and advanced Boolean search techniques.
- Conduct thorough candidate screening and competency-based interviews to assess technical expertise, experience, motivations, and suitability for client opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong candidate relationships throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, providing guidance on the opportunity, interview process, expectations, and next steps.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates and provide timely updates throughout all stages of the recruitment process.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support ongoing and future hiring requirements.
- Present qualified candidates with detailed candidate summaries and recommendations.
- Manage offer processes, candidate negotiations, and acceptance activities to maximise successful placement outcomes.
- Monitor candidate engagement and proactively address any concerns or challenges throughout the recruitment journey.
- Maintain accurate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring candidate information, activity, and recruitment data are up to date.
- Utilise Zoho Recruit or similar ATS platforms to manage recruitment workflows and reporting.
- Review applications promptly and ensure efficient progression through the recruitment process.
- Create and manage job advertisements across LinkedIn, Indeed, Zoho Recruit, and other relevant platforms.
- Produce accurate recruitment reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics for management.
- Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while maintaining high service standards and recruitment quality.
- Participate in recruitment campaigns, talent attraction initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure compliance with all internal recruitment policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
- Consistently achieve and exceed agreed recruitment KPIs, placement targets, and performance objectives.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ recruitment experience, ideally within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, or other regulated industries.
- Proven experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle in either an agency, consultancy, staffing, or in-house recruitment environment.
- Demonstrated success in candidate sourcing using advanced search techniques, social media platforms, professional networks, and recruitment databases.
- Strong experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Zoho Recruit or similar platforms.
- Excellent interviewing, candidate assessment, and relationship management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence candidates at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload in a target-driven environment.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

- Recruitment experience within a staffing, consultancy, or managed services organisation.
