Our client is looking for a Project Manager to join their real estate team in London, delivering large-scale, construction projects for major clients across Europe.
About the Role
You’ll own full project delivery from inception through to commissioning, so solid construction project management experience is essential, ideally with a background across a range of sectors including residential, commercial fit-out, health or education. This is a brilliant opportunity to work on high-profile, complex projects for a top consultancy.
Responsibilities
• Advise clients at a strategic level during the project conception stage on delivery approaches. • Lead the establishment of project success criteria including time, cost and performance parameters. • Set up and maintain effective project governance, processes and systems throughout delivery. • Manage quality, safety, health and environment planning throughout the project lifecycle. • Lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams, monitoring performance against KPIs. • Manage change control, project finances and procurement of resources. • Maintain clear project communications between the delivery team and the client. • Produce formal project progress reports and interface with clients and consultants at all stages.
Qualifications
• Professional qualification in construction, project management, engineering or architecture.
Required Skills
• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction projects end to end. • Strong knowledge of project management concepts, tools and techniques across the full lifecycle. • Experience managing project governance, change control and performance reporting. • Ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on complex programmes. • Solid understanding of project finances, procurement and resource management. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder engagement.
Preferred Skills
• Construction consultancy background, working client-side on behalf of major programmes. • Chartered status (MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or equivalent) or actively working towards it. • Experience delivering data centre, mission-critical or highly technical construction projects. • Background across a range of sectors including residential, commercial fit-out, health or education. • Experience working on European or international construction programmes.
Pay range and compensation package
£60,000 – £90,000
