Role Description The International Water & Sanitation Finance Intern role is a contract position based on the UK, supporting the design, analysis, and documentation of financing solutions for water and sanitation initiatives. Day-to-day tasks may include conducting desk research on sector financing models, analyzing project data and investment options, and preparing concise briefings, presentations, and reports for internal and client use. The intern will assist with reviewing policies and programs, and contributing to knowledge products such as case studies and training materials. The role also involves collaborating with team members across different countries, participating in virtual meetings, and maintaining clear records of work and deliverables. The position is designed to provide hands-on exposure to international development finance in the water and sanitation sector.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Background in economics, finance, public policy, international development, or a related field (current student or recent graduate).
