Your New Role – What’s Involved?
We are seeking Graduate Consultants to join our London office at Mayer Brown Limited. The role will focus on supporting the delivery of sustainable transport, active travel, and placemaking projects.
As a graduate, you will work alongside experienced consultants and contribute to a wide range of projects, gaining hands-on experience and developing your technical and professional skills. You will:
- Support and contribute to transport planning projects that prioritise sustainability, active modes of travel, and people-focused places
- Assist in the development of active travel strategies, street design concepts, and placemaking assessments
- Support the preparation of feasibility studies and technical reports
- Use GIS tools to undertake spatial analysis and mapping for transport strategies, movement frameworks, and public realm schemes
- Assist with data collection, research, and analysis to inform project development
- Collaborate with colleagues, clients, and local authorities to support the delivery of integrated, sustainable mobility solutions

We’d Love to Hear from You if You:
- Have recently graduated or are due to graduate in 2026
- Have (or are predicted) a 2:1 or above in a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in one or more of the following: Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Geography, Economics. Mathematics, Urban Design, Planning
And can demonstrate:
- A genuine interest in sustainable transport, walking and cycling infrastructure, and placemaking
- An understanding (or willingness to learn) of key guidance such as Manual for Streets and LTN 1/20
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, organised, and collaborative approach to work
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
Desired skills and experience:
- Familiarity with GIS platforms such as ArcGIS or QGIS (desirable but not essential)
- Familiarity with Adobe Suite
