Finance Controller – Flexible Working & Reporting Leader

The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the Centre of Excellence for financial and statutory reporting. You will be responsible for the integrity, timeliness and transparency of the Council’s single-entity and Group Annual Accounts, prepared under the IFRS-based CIPFA/LASAAC Code of Practice.

The role focuses on leading improvements in accounting operations, strengthening internal controls and delivering fast, decision-ready finance data for senior managers.
