About the Role

As a Home Manager, you will provide visible leadership and overall operational management of the Home while ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred care.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee governance and operational performance and support a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Service Leadership & Resident Care

  • Lead the delivery of high-quality, safe and person-centred care across the Home.
  • Promote resident wellbeing, dignity, independence and positive outcomes.
  • Maintain oversight of assessments, care planning and risk management.
  • Support positive resident and family experiences.

Team Leadership & Workforce Development

  • Lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, supervision and staff development.
  • Promote a positive culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Support workforce planning and operational effectiveness.

Communication & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and external professionals.
  • Support effective communication, meetings and engagement opportunities.
  • Promote partnership working and community engagement.
  • Escalate concerns appropriately and without delay.

Governance, Quality & Professional Standards

  • Lead governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Support audits, inspections and improvement initiatives.
  • Promote safeguarding, health and safety and professional standards.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements.

What Were Looking For

We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Registered Nurses with active NMC registration appropriate to the service.
  • Experienced care leaders with a minimum of three years’ leadership or management experience within regulated care environments.
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care
  • Confident leading multidisciplinary teams and operational services
  • Strong communicators with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Committed to governance, continuous improvement and resident wellbeing

Desirable Experience

  • Experience supporting dementia, mental health or complex care services
  • Experience leading inspections, audits or quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience supporting service development or occupancy growth

Required Criteria

  • Registered Nurse on the live NMC Register appropriate to the role and service requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years leadership or management experience within a regulated care home, healthcare or nursing environment; OR demonstrable equivalent experience operating at senior leadership level within a regulated health or social care setting.
