Location: Mossley Mill but may be required to work from any Council site or facilitywithin the Borough.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
Responsible for the provision of a high quality, efficient and effective confidential administrative and business support service to the Council’s Economic Development and Planning Department. The post holder will provide comprehensive clerical and administrative services for the achievement of effective implementation of the Council’s Economic Development, Investment and Regeneration initiatives which contribute to the development of the Northern Ireland economy, in line with the Council’s Corporate and Economic Development objectives. A particular focus of the role will be to support the Economic Development Team in the delivery of the Councils Employability and Skills agenda and the Council’s Labour Market Partnership which is designed to co-ordinate, plan and deliver skills interventions to our residents and businesses. The role will also support other business development, investment and stakeholder engagement programmes alongside employability initiatives.
