Specialist Dietitian – Frailty & Malnutrition Service (North Staffordshire)
We’re looking for an experienced dietitian to lead the clinical delivery of a new 12-month pilot service tackling malnutrition and frailty in care homes and the community across North Staffordshire.
This is an autonomous role – you’ll diagnose using GLIM criteria, lead food-first care plans, and help build the evidence base that shapes future commissioning decisions.
The details:
- 0.6 WTE (22.5 hrs/week)
- Fixed-term, 12 months
What you’ll be doing:
- Autonomous specialist assessments and malnutrition diagnosis (GLIM criteria)
- Leading individualised, food-first care plans across care homes and community caseloads
- Clinical supervision of our Nutrition Assistant
- Collecting outcome data that will directly inform the service’s future
