About Our Client
This role is with an organisation in the not-for-profit sector, based in Manchester.
Job Description
- Coordinate and manage property repair requests from tenants and stakeholders.
- Liaise with contractors to schedule and monitor repair works.
- Ensure repairs are completed in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of repair activities and costs.
- Provide clear communication and updates to tenants regarding repair progress.
- Conduct inspections to verify completion and quality of repairs.
- Assist in resolving any disputes or issues related to repair works.
- Support the Property department with administrative tasks as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Repairs Officer should have:
- Experience in property repairs or maintenance coordination, preferably in the not-for-profit sector.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using property management systems or similar software.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
What’s on Offer
- An hourly rate of £16.00 to £20.00, dependent on the level of experience.
