Investigate vehicle-level faults across ADAS, infotainment, electrification and autonomous systems. Diagnose issues using logs, traces, requirements and system architecture to determine whether faults originate from software, hardware, calibration or integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate real-world vehicle issues such as:
- Radar misalignment or non-detection
- Infotainment freezes or resets
- ADAS warning triggers
- Charging system faults
- Analyse CAN, CAN FD, Ethernet and vehicle data logs to identify abnormal behaviour
- Conduct root cause analysis across multiple domains and ECUs
- Work in vehicle, workshop, test rigs, benches and HIL environments
- Review system requirements, architecture, functional behaviour and attribute performance
- Collaborate with software teams to pinpoint source of issues and validate fixes
- Support integration testing, regression checks and release readiness
- Document findings, fault trees, traceability and corrective actions
Essential Technical Skills
- Requirements analysis, system architecture understanding
- CAN, CANoe, CANalyser
- Ethernet log analysis, network trace interpretation
- Vehicle testing, integration testing, fault reproduction
- Experience in ADAS, infotainment, electrification or autonomous systems
- Strong analytical and investigative capability
Nice to Have
- ISO 26262
- ASPICE
- Calibration experience (ADAS or powertrain)
- HIL experience (dSPACE, NI, Vector)
Additional
