Description
- Manage the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Supervise and support the finance team with their daily tasks.
- Monitor cash flow and manage financial risks effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience in financial management.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software.
- Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Understanding of the not for profit sector (SORP, UK GAAP, FRS 102)
Job Offer
- Salary from £62,213+ dependent on the level of experience.
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
