We’re supporting a government client in the search for an experienced Safety Engineer (Nuclear) to support the development of an integrated safety case for a critical defence programme.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile project, working alongside key stakeholders to deliver essential nuclear safety documentation and governance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the completion of the Preliminary Safety & Environmental Report (PSER)
- Coordinating and integrating safety artefacts from multiple contractors
- Supporting Safety Working Groups and Programme Safety & Environmental Committee (PSEC)
- Updating the Safety & Environmental Management Plan (SEMP)
- Managing stakeholder feedback and document control throughout the safety case process
Requirements:
- Nuclear Safety Engineering experience
- Experience developing integrated safety cases and safety management systems
- Strong stakeholder engagement and coordination skills
- Active Clearance and UK National status
Location: Hybrid – Abbey Wood/Home Working, with travel to Glasgow/Clyde approximately twice per month
Contract: 3 months likely extended (ASAP start)
