About Our Client
Or client are an established manufacturing business based in York who are looking for a skilled and motivated Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join their successful engineering team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving a variety of production and site equipment to ensure maximum reliability, efficiency, and safety. This role requires both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
The Successful Applicant
- The successful candidate will have;
- A recognised engineering qualification (Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled discipline).
- Previous maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A flexible approach to working hours and shift patterns.
What’s on Offer
Salary is ranging up to £55,000 per annum. This is a day shift based role however, they are looking for someone who will be open to a mixture of day and night shifts.
