Are you an experienced Classic Car Technician seeking an exceptional opportunity within a reputable independent specialist? Our client, a well-established and highly respected workshop in Nottingham, is actively recruiting a skilled Classic Car Technician to join their dedicated team. This role offers the chance to work on some of the most prestigious vintage, classic, and modern vehicles, including Rolls-Royce and Bentley models.

This is a unique opportunity for a passionate technician with a strong background in engine rebuilding, diagnostics, and a genuine enthusiasm for classic vehicles. The successful Classic Car Technician will be committed to delivering the highest standards of workmanship within a supportive and professional environment.

Duties:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs to an exceptional standard
  • Rebuild engines and major mechanical components
  • Overhaul suspension and brakes
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults accurately
  • Utilise modern diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and workshop standards
  • Complete comprehensive job cards, timesheets, and workshop documentation
  • Ensure work is completed within specified timescales, maintaining quality at all times
  • Contribute to a clean, organised, and efficient workshop environment

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience as a qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Strong experience in engine rebuilding and major mechanical repairs
  • Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Basic engineering knowledge
  • Electrical system experience is desirable
  • Genuine passion for vintage, classic, and modern vehicles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no endorsements
