Maintenance Technician (Electrical)A respected healthcare provider is seeking a Maintenance Technician (Electrical) to join its Facilities team. The role will support a busy site with planned and reactive maintenance, with occasional travel to other locations and participation in an out-of-hours rota.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works.
- Perform first-level fault finding and repairs on equipment, building assets, and specialist medical equipment.
- Complete minor improvement works and support the wider Facilities team with mechanical and plumbing tasks as needed.
- Conduct statutory checks, including emergency lighting, PAT testing, and fire alarm support.
- Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota.
Requirements
- Recognised Trade Apprenticeship.
- City & Guilds Level 1, 2, 3 in Electrical Engineering (18th Edition) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, ideally within a healthcare, residential, or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance.
- Clean driving license for occasional travel between sites.
- Compassionate approach with the ability to work sensitively in a hospice environment.
