Class 2 HGV Driver

Class 2 HGV Driver – Permanent Role Location: Grays / West Thurrock Salary: 39,000 per annum Shift: Days

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join a well-established Freight, Air & Sea Logistics company on a permanent basis.

The Role:

• Driving a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle delivering and collecting freight
• Completing air and sea freight deliveries and collections
• Transporting goods safely and securely between customers, depots, and freight locations
• Ensuring all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
• Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining customer signatures
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Loading and unloading freight when required
• Working closely with the transport team to ensure efficient daily operations
• Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV Licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 2 driving experience required
• Experience within freight, logistics, air or sea cargo would be advantageous
• Clean DBS required
• Good understanding of driver regulations and compliance
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious approach
