MIG Welder

Location: DewsburyPay Rate: 14.50 per hourJob Type: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established and growing manufacturing company based in Dewsbury. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled welder looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week probation period.

Working Hours & Pay

  • Monday to Friday

  • 6:00am – 2:30pm

  • 30-minute paid break

  • 30-minute unpaid break

  • 40 paid hours per week

  • 14.50 per hour

  • Weekly pay

Key Duties

  • Carry out MIG welding on a range of metal components and assemblies

  • Read and interpret engineering and technical drawings

  • Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards

  • Conduct visual inspections of completed welds

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment

  • Support production activities and assist team members when required

Requirements

  • Previous MIG welding experience is essential

  • Ability to read and work from technical drawings

  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Reliable, hardworking, and punctual

  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
