Our client in Sittingbourne is seeking a Trainee CNC Miller; the role is permanent and paid monthly + OT when required .Â
The role is available due to pending retirement so full training will be given. The role would suit anyone with CNC machining knowledge or desire to learn or a background in another engineering discipline – machine operating etc.
Making parts for machine building/production
Job Title: Trainee CNC Miller
Location: Sittingbourne
Salary: from £13.00 per hour, depending on skill level
Hours: 7.30am to 4pm (Friday 3pm finish)
39 hour week
OT paid at time and a half, when required
Training given
- 3 axis Haas machines.
- CAD/CAM programming
CNC Miller skills to be taught
- Heidenhain Controls
- Setting / Operating / Programming
- How to understand engineering drawings
- Training is the use of cutting tools
The CNC Miller will learn how to work with a variety of materials – aluminium, stainless steel, titanium etc
