This role supports the Operations Manager in making sure everything runs smoothly in what is a complex and lively visitor business.

Salary: £27,612 per annum
Contract Duration:This is a fixed-term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role.At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months.
Working Pattern: You will work 37.5 hours per week. You may be asked to carry out duty management as needed, and will work weekends on a rota basis.

As part of the Operations Team, you’ll be focused on achieving the highest standards of presentation and service, helping everything to run smoothly during projects, events, active conservation work, and busy school holidays throughout the year. A key part of your role will be ensuring the daily opening and operation of Lacock Abbey during our core season, coordinating staff and volunteers to deliver a welcoming and engaging visitor experience.
You’ll work alongside colleagues in both the Welcome and Collections teams to ensure everyone who visits has everything they need to enjoy their day. Sometimes you may need to get stuck in and help wherever you’re needed to keep the place running smoothly. You may also be managing and supervising others, including volunteers.
