Our client is a leading utility company who are working on a long-term utility framework contracts. The Project Manager role is key in ensuring that water projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with programme.

Project Manager Key Essentials:
- As Project Manager, you will work closely with the management and commercial team, playing a critical role in keeping projects moving and removing obstacles before they impact delivery
- Develop and manage short-term lookahead programmes for water mains replacement works
- Identify and mitigate constraints including permits, traffic management, materials, labour, and access
- Work closely with colleagues / stakeholders to ensure planned vs actual delivery aligns with the project programme
- Oversee Site Managers, ensuring that works are delivered right first time
- Ensure that all early warnings are submitted and compensation events submitted
- Proactively identify risks, issues, and inefficiencies, implementing practical solutions
- Drive productivity improvements across workstreams and teams
- Monitor site performance and provide clear reporting on progress, risks, and outputs
- Ensure compliance with clients standards and SHEQ requirements
Project Manager Requirements:
- Proven managerial experience working on water mains replacement projects with a strong problem-solving mindset
- Ideally qualified with SMSTS, NRSWA Supervisor and Temporary Works
- Ability to interpret and challenge construction programmes and sequencing
- Good IT skills including Excel
