Open to Newly Qualified or Less Experienced Applicants (Annex 21 Pathway) While this post is advertised at Band 5, we warmly welcome applications from candidates who may not yet meet all Band 5 competencies. For the right candidate, we can offer the role under Band 5 Annex 21 conditions, with a supported development plan to help you achieve full Band 5 competencies. Person Specification
Qualifications
- NVQ 3, BTEC/SCOTEC or City & Guilds in mechanical engineering or equivalent workshop experience in manufacturing
- A record of qualifications achieved
Experience
- Previous experience of working in prosthetic manufacture
- A record / portfolio of experience in prosthetic manufacture.
Skills and attributes
- Ability to organise and prioritise work effectively
Knowledge
- Competent to work safely with all workshop machinery and equipment with a knowledge and understanding of health & safety requirements.
- Evidence re understanding of health & safety in a workshop environment.
