Main duties of the job

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Physiologists to join our staff bank team and support the delivery of a high-quality Neurophysiology service across the Trust.

This is an excellent opportunity for physiologists looking to develop their skills and experience across a broad range of neurophysiological investigations while working alongside experienced Clinical Physiologists and a Consultant Neurophysiologist.

Job responsibilities

As a Bank Clinical Physiologist, you will undertake routine neurophysiological investigations including adult routine and sleep-deprived EEG recordings. You will support the wider Neurophysiology service and have the opportunity to develop experience in more advanced investigations under appropriate supervision, including paediatric and neonatal EEGs, portable EEGs.

You will assess patients prior to investigations, adapt procedures to meet individual patient needs, maintain accurate records and contribute to providing a safe, effective and patient-centred service. You will also support equipment quality assurance processes and work closely with colleagues to maintain high clinical standards.
