Site Manager Fit-Out

Our client is a well-established fit-out contractor delivering commercial, retail, hospitality, office and refurbishment projects across Ireland. As a result of continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the delivery of fit-out projects from site setup through to final handover.

The successful candidate will manage all day-to-day site activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations from mobilisation through to completion.
• Manage subcontractors, trades, suppliers and site-based personnel.
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Track site progress and resolve any issues that may impact delivery.
• Maintain high standards across all fit-out and finishing packages.
• Coordinate partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes and associated building services.
• Carry out quality inspections and manage snagging and remedial works.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures and site regulations.
• Lead site meetings and provide regular updates to the Contracts Manager and project team.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, design teams and other key stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and quality documentation.
• Plan labour, materials and deliveries to support the construction programme.
• Manage the project through to successful completion and client handover.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a Site Manager role within fit-out, refurbishment or general construction.
• Good understanding of internal fit-out packages, finishes and handover requirements.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades on active sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, programmes and specifications.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on quality.
• Good knowledge of health and safety standards within the Irish construction sector.
• Relevant construction or site management qualification.
• Safe Pass and First Aid certification.
• Full clean driving licence.
