Responsibilities as an Activities Coordinator:
- Plan and deliver meaningful, person-centred activities to support residents’ wellbeing and quality of life
- Create engaging activity plans tailored to residents’ interests, needs and abilities
- Provide companionship and one-to-one support for residents requiring additional support
- Support residents living with dementia through appropriate activities and engagement techniques
Requirements as an Activities Coordinator:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering activities within a care home or similar environment
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Activities, or willingness to work towards this
