Full‑time, permanent role (Shift‑Pattern Framework) | September start

Our client is seeking a professional, reliable, and exceptionally organized School Caretaker to join their active campus premises team from September. This is a full‑time, year‑round position operating on a rotating shift pattern (early mornings/late evening lockups), ideal for a handy technician or maintenance professional looking for a stable, highly supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will share day‑to‑day responsibility for the security and smooth physical running of the school estate. Key duties include managing morning unlocking or evening lockup routines, executing first‑line reactive fabric repairs (basic plumbing, carpentry, and painting fixes), overseeing assembly and exam setups, and executing routine statutory safety tests (weekly fire alarm drills, emergency lighting checks, and water hygiene temperature logs).

The premises department benefits from a dedicated, well‑equipped facility workshop, modern asset tracking software, and a highly collaborative team structure where support staff are heavily valued.
