About the Unit

Fife Neuro Rehabilitation Service is a multi‑disciplinary neuro‑rehabilitation unit providing expert care to adults aged 16‑64 in an in‑patient, out‑patient and community setting. The unit is based at Sir George Sharp Unit, Cameron Hospital and consists of a 12‑bed in‑patient facility with a full‑fledged out‑patient/community service. We are looking to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and hard‑working occupational therapist to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the in‑patient Occupational Therapy team and provide highly expert, direct clinical care, including specialist assessment, intervention and management of patients with complex neurological needs.
• Execute clinical and leadership roles, ensuring high standards of quality care for all admitted patients.
• Develop staff through training, mentoring and performance supervision.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, service development and representation at regional and national uni‑professional and multi‑professional groups.
• Collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation plans.

Qualifications & Experience

• Essential: A recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Advantageous: Relevant specialist training specific to neurological rehabilitation.
• Experience in neurological or stroke rehabilitation and proven leadership capability.
