Main duties of the job

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic and forward‑thinking candidate with experience in pharmacy to join the Chase Farm London Pharmacy family. You will need to be organised, well‑motivated and possess excellent communication and people skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to new situations. This post offers the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge while receiving the support and training you need.

Person Specification

  • Demonstrable ability to meet the Trust Values

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent

Experience

  • Demonstrate ability to dispense accurately
  • Demonstrate ability to counsel and give advice to patients/carers on medication
  • Experience/knowledge of the principles of stock control
  • Computer literate including Microsoft software products
  • Experience of working in an NHS hospital environment
  • Previous assessable experience/understanding of JAC Pharmacy computer system
  • Previous experience in an outpatient pharmacy setting
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently or as a member of a team
  • Ability to complete any required documentation correctly
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to meet set deadlines

£32,518.29 to £33,739.35 a year, all inclusive.
