Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust is recruiting for a Trust Support Officer.

We are looking for one or more organised, practical and people-focused colleagues to support the day-to-day running of our small conservation charity.

The Trust protects, maintains and enhances the unique character of Hampstead Garden Suburb — an internationally important example of early 20th-century town planning and architecture.

About the role

The role includes:

  • resident and office coordination
  • information and property administration
  • meeting support
  • governance processes

We are open to appointing either one full-time person covering the whole role, or more than one part-time colleague with responsibilities divided between them.

This could suit someone looking for varied, useful work in a small organisation where their contribution is visible.

You will need to be:

  • organised and accurate
  • calm and professional with residents, visitors and other contacts
  • confident using records, databases and systems
  • able to follow work through reliably
  • comfortable working as part of a small team

Experience in office administration, customer service, property administration, basic finance, credit control, records management or meeting support would be useful.

Working pattern

The role is office-based in London NW11.

Full-time is 35 hours per week. Part-time and annualised-hours arrangements will be considered. Candidates will need to be available for a minimum of three hours on Monday mornings.

Salary and benefits

Salary: £29,000–£32,000 FTE, pro rata where applicable.

Benefits include 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, pro rata where applicable, and an 8% employer pension contribution where the employee contributes 8%.
