Site Manager

Cobalt Recruitment is working with a leading refurbishment contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager for an immediate start on a live school refurbishment project in Bromley for an 8 week duration.

This is an 8-week contract overseeing refurbishment works across a multi-storey building, including decorating, flooring and general builders’ works. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site.
• Supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
• Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed.
• Open and close the site each day.
• Coordinate works and maintain programme.
• Liaise with the project team and client.

Requirements

• SMSTS or SSSTS.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Enhanced DBS (essential).
• Previous refurbishment experience, ideally within education or occupied buildings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
