Vertis Health is seeking an experienced and passionate clinician to join our growing Neurodevelopmental Services team as aCYP ADHD Assessment Clinician. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality ADHD assessments for children and young people, helping families access timely, evidence-based diagnostic outcomes within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm
Contract:Full Time, Part Time, Permanent
Location:Worcestershire (Worcester WR5 / Redditch B98) with agreed hybrid working arrangements
As a CYP ADHD Assessment Clinician, you will:
- Deliver structured ADHD assessments for children and young people in line with local and national standards.
- Gather and review information from multiple sources, including parents, carers, schools and existing records.
- Complete developmental histories and assess functional impact across different settings.
- Present cases within multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions and contribute to robust diagnostic decision‑making.
- Provide clear and sensitive feedback to children, young people and families regarding assessment outcomes.
- Produce high-quality clinical reports and correspondence within agreed timescales.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
- Identify safeguarding concerns, assess risk and elevate issues appropriately.
- Participate in audit, quality improvement initiatives and service development activities.
- Engage in clinical supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.

Person Specification
Essential
- Appropriate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Current HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Significant postqualification experience working with children and young people in neurodevelopmental, CAMHS or related services.
- Direct experience contributing to CYP ADHD diagnostic assessments within an MDT.
- Strong formulation, clinical reasoning and reportwriting skills.
- Sound understanding of safeguarding and risk in CYP services.
Desirable
- ADOS2 trained.
- Experience of working with dual presentation (ASD/ADHD).
- Experience supporting service development or audit activity. Experience using EMIS.
