Class 1 HGV Driver
Pertempshave an excellent opportunity for Class 1 HGV Drivers to work for our client based out of East Midlands Gateway. As a Class 1 HGV Driver you will undertake trunking work to other company sites, NDC’s and RDC’s.This is clean work with no handball and presents long term work for Class 1 HGV Drivers. There will be opportunities to be taken on permanent as well should that be a pathway you’d like to explore.
Shift Patterns / Working Hours Available:+ 4 on 4 off / Weekdays / Weeknights+ Guaranteed 9.6 hours per shift minimum pay with OT paid out after 9.6 hours each day.
The successful Class 1 Driver will:+ Have a valid Class 1 License for a minimum of 6 months+ Have a valid tacho and DQC card+ Have a positive can do attitude
Your duties as a Class 1 HGV Driver will include:+ Trunking goods around the UK – No handball+ Trailer swaps and backloads
You will receive:+ Nights – 19.40 per hour+ Nights OT after 9.6 hours daily – 29.10 per hour+ Days – 16.95 per hour+ Days OT after 9.6 hours daily – 25.43 per hour
