Overview
The Schools Compliance Officer will lead a compliance project across multiple education sites in London and the South of England. Reporting to the Group Head of People, this hands‑on role involves auditing existing practices, advising school leaders, and improving compliance processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and implement a robust compliance project across multiple sites.
- Audit safer recruitment and safeguarding compliance (KCSIE).
- Conduct Single Central Record / Register (SCR) audits and propose improvements.
- Ensure right‑to‑work and visa compliance.
- Deliver training and support for multi‑site teams.
- Drive consistency and best practice across the group.
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in education compliance.
- Strong audit capability and detail‑oriented approach.
- Excellent advisory and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
- Full UK driving licence and vehicle access.
- Willingness to travel across Southern England and the South Midlands.
