ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced solicitor/associate level lawyer to work within our market leading Commercial Property, Telecoms and Licensing department. This is a London based full time role, and this particular vacancy within the team is to support the department’s telecoms clients. You would be working alongside some of the best telecoms lawyers in the country, supporting a key client on contentious and non-contentious work centred around ‘The Telecoms Code’.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drafting, negotiating and completing leases and licences to document the installation and use of masts on new and existing sites.
- Issuing proceedings at court or the Tribunal (the team issue around two to three a week), to seek rights under the Telecoms Code and/or renew telecoms agreements under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.
- Drafting and serving notices under the Telecoms Code.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a specialist practice and establish themselves as an expert in this area. The team welcomes applications from both lawyers who already specialise in telecoms code work and those with a commercial property background who are keen to apply their transferable skills across a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious matters.
You will be able to demonstrate a good level of understanding in either commercial property or telecoms work, be confident running your own caseload and enjoy providing an excellent client service.
