Patient‑centered support staff are needed for Huntsmans, a shared bungalow where people are supported to live happy, independent lives. The role involves assisting with personal care, shopping trips, community activities and safeguarding the dignity and choice of residents with complex needs including learning and physical disabilities, autism, epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and Down’s syndrome.
Shift details
- Full‑time (37.5 hrs/week, Monday–Sunday)
- Part‑time roles also available
- Shifts vary depending on weekly activities, with a maximum of 08:00–22:00
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care routines and support residents with daily living activities
- Accompany residents on shopping trips, outings such as Chester Zoo, Knowsley Safari Park, karaoke, and pamper days
- Encourage and promote choice, dignity and respect in all interactions
- Work as part of a close‑knit, supportive team and attend regular supervisions
Qualifications
- All applicants must complete a DBS check (company paid)
- Full UK manual driving licence required
