Project Manager – Facilities Team

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Project Manager to join our Facilities team at sportscotland. The role focuses on providing professional advice and support to partners on the planning and design of sports facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice and support to partners on the planning and design of sports facilities.
• Coordinate and manage investment across capital grant programmes.
• Shape the strategic development of places for sport and support long‑term planning.
• Work closely with internal colleagues and external partners including local authorities, clubs and community organisations.
• Support the development of sustainable, high‑quality sports facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience of project management, including budgets and/or funds.
• Degree or postgraduate level education in Architecture, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, Planning or equivalent.
• Membership of a relevant professional body is desirable.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship‑building skills.
• Knowledge or interest in sustainable design, construction and retrofit approaches.

Salary

£47,699 – £54,569 per annum, fixed term for 2 years, full‑time (35 hours per week).

Location

Glasgow – on site or hybrid.
