Supply Teacher – Chelmsford & Surrounding Areas (Flexible Day-to-Day Cover)
Gold Education Recruitment is currently working with a number of welcoming primary and secondary schools across Chelmsford and the surrounding areas, seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teachers for day‑to‑day and short‑term cover opportunities.
This is a fantastic opportunity for qualified teachers looking for complete flexibility and variety in their work. Whether you’re looking to work one day a week or five, returning to teaching after a break, or simply wanting to experience different school environments, we have opportunities to suit your availability and lifestyle.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Delivering pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups
- Providing day‑to‑day and short‑term cover in a range of local primary and secondary schools
- Maintaining a positive, engaging, and productive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Supporting students to remain focused and engaged in their learning
- Adapting quickly and confidently to different school settings and classroom environments
- Providing feedback to schools on lesson outcomes where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching in a UK primary or secondary school
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and professional approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to adapt confidently to different schools and teaching environments
- ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
