School-Based Mental Health Assistant

Academics in Slough is seeking an Aspiring Psychologist – Mental Health Assistant to support students aged 11-18 with social-emotional and mental health needs in a specialist school.

You will work alongside teachers and therapists delivering 1:1 and small group support, help students regulate emotions, and help them access education in a safe, calm environment. The role offers hands-on experience in psychology, SEN, youth work, counselling, therapy, or clinical careers.
