Meridian business support is recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives for an online retailer based near Tarporleyon a temporary to permanent basis.
You will be working Monday to Friday (no weekends) 8am-5pm with an hourly rate of 12.71
As Warehouse Operative you will be working in a team of other Warehouse and Yard Operatives with a variety of duties which will include heavy lifting of furniture.
Duties as below:
- Unloading of 40ft shipping containers (Full of furniture) decanting into the warehouse
- Picking furniture from the warehouse ready to load on 3.5 tonne vans
- Load the vans, securing the furniture in place
- Picking furniture for Amazon PRIME, DPD and their3rd Party delivery partner
- Labelling the furniture and loading onto their delivery partners’ vans
- General warehousing duties, def raggingand creating space
- Unloading of returning vehicles from delivery runs
- Sorting Returns
- Light repairs to returned stock
- Readying items for sale on eBay
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Operative or Yard Operative
- Good knowledge of warehouse activities including picking, dispatchand return
