Location: Scottish Highlands, UK

Rate: £80 – £105ph depending on shift type. PAYE only

About the Role

As a locum Consultant in General Anaesthetics, you’ll deliver safe and effective anaesthesia across a range of surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Providing general anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures
• Conducting pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
• Supporting junior anaesthetists and theatre staff
• Participating in audits and clinical governance

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• FRCA or equivalent
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check – or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in Anaesthetics (or within 6 months of achieving it)
