Conveyancer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancer to join a well-established and growing law firm based in Harrogate.This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and experienced conveyancing team, handling a varied caseload while building strong relationships with clients and local professionals.
The Role
As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload from instruction through to completion, dealing with a variety of conveyancing matters including:
* Sales and purchases* Freehold and leasehold transactions* Remortgages* Transfers of equity* Shared ownership* Staircasing* Other conveyancing matters
You will be supported by a dedicated Conveyancing Assistant on a one-to-one basis, along with a modern case management system to help you manage your workload efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar conveyancing role.* Experience managing a full and varied caseload of approximately 60-100 files from start to finish.* Excellent client care and customer service skills.* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to deadlines.* Excellent IT skills and experience using a case management system (such as Proclaim, Redbrick, Quill or similar).* Excellent attention to detail.* Strong written and verbal communication skills.* A good understanding of confidentiality and data protection.* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.* A willingness to support and mentor junior members of staff.* A full clean driving licence would be advantageous.
