HGV Technician – Croydon
Salary up to £26 per hour depending on skill set and experience. Rotate shift (Monday to Friday 0600hrs to 1430hrs or 1430hrs to 2300hrs, 40 hours per week paid). Overtime available Saturday & Sunday, double time Sunday.
£3,000 joining bonus (£1,500 net on first paycheck, £1,500 net after 6-month probation). Direct applicants only.

Responsibilities
- Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
- Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
- Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate.
- Support the development of young trainees and apprentices.
Qualifications
Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, or completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry, with experience working on HGVs.
