The opportunity

A rare chance to apply HFT‑level engineering in crypto – where the problems are real, the stakes are high, and your work is visible. You’ll sit close to traders and quants with direct ownership of performance‑critical infrastructure, not siloed in a back‑office tech team.

What you’ll be working on

• Ultra‑low‑latency trading systems in C++ and/or Rust
• Concurrency, multithreading, lock‑free systems, and memory optimisation
• Kernel‑level and networking engineering – not application‑layer abstraction
• Throughput/latency tradeoffs, cache efficiency, and real‑time data ingestion
• Reliability engineering across a globally distributed exchange infrastructure

What they’re looking for

• Strong C++ or Rust proficiency – willingness to work in Rust is non‑negotiable
• 3-6 years in performance‑critical software engineering
• Deep systems‑level knowledge: concurrency, networking, distributed systems
• Background from a trading firm, crypto exchange, or big tech with a strong systems focus
• Composure under pressure within a fast‑moving, front‑office environment
