SERVICE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN Basic Salary: Up to £35,000 Depending on Experience OTE: £38,000+ Location: Bury St Edmunds Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm | 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings Paid at 1.5x Overtime Rate

Our client is looking for a skilled Service Vehicle Technician to join their busy and successful workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and is looking to further develop their career within a professional dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities – Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards – Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements – Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain components – Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time – Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation – Carry out road tests and quality control checks following repairs – Maintain high levels of workshop productivity and efficiency

Skills & Qualifications – NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred – Level 2 qualification will be considered for candidates with relevant workshop experience – At least 2 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry – Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience – Full UK Manual Driving Licence – Own tools and toolbox – Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available)

Desirable – MOT Tester Licence – Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair & Replacement – Previous Main Dealer experience – Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment
