They are seeking an ambitious Commis Chef to join their elite culinary team. What will the role involve?
- Food preparation – Assisting with daily mise en place and preparing ingredients to required standards
- Section support – Supporting senior chefs across multiple kitchen sections
- Dish presentation – Ensuring dishes are presented to luxury standards
- Dietary awareness – Maintaining knowledge of ingredients, allergens and dietary requirements
- Learning and development – Engaging in ongoing training and skill development
- Kitchen organisation Maintaining a clean, organised and compliant workstation
- Stock rotation – Following correct storage, labelling and rotation procedures
- Team collaboration – Working closely with the wider brigade to ensure smooth service
- Guest experience support – Contributing to a consistently high?quality dining experience
Who are we looking for?
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in food preparation or professional cookery is desirable
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen is preferred
- Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety standards
- Passion for fresh, nutritious and beautifully presented cuisine
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
