Class 1 Driver – Trunking

Job Details

We are seeking a Class 1 Driver – Trunking to join a parcel distribution operation in Silvertown. This full‑time, temporary position offers £19.00 per hour for days and £20.50 per hour for nights, with a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern and guaranteed 12‑hour shifts. Drivers will operate brand new electric vehicles and have immediate starts available.

Responsibilities

• Trunking parcel loads between depots and distribution centres
• Driving from Silvertown to locations across the North of England
• Ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely and on time
• Completing vehicle checks and required paperwork
• Maintaining high standards of professionalism at all times

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital tachograph card
• Good understanding of driver hours and working time regulations
• Reliable, professional and safety‑focused attitude
• Previous trunking experience desirable but not essential
