Job Overview

Randstad Education is hiring a Primary Supply Teacher to work in Gatwick and surrounding areas.

The role is suitable for teachers with a valid QTS or PGCE, who want to cover lessons, support pupils, and maintain a positive classroom environment.

Drivers are especially encouraged to apply as travel between schools may be required.

Salary

A daily rate of £140.00 is paid weekly.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons in primary classrooms.
• Follow school policies and classroom procedures.
• Create a safe and positive learning environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Support pupils with their learning and development.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings.
• Complete school records when required.
• Work professionally with school staff and leadership teams.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE qualification
• Passion for teaching and helping children learn
• Positive attitude and professional behaviour
• Flexible approach to working in different schools
• Two professional work references
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom
• Good communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching environments
• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is beneficial
