Apprentice Machinist — Launch Your Precision Career

The Isle of Wight College is partnering with Strainstall to recruit an Apprentice Machinist for their Cowes site. This entry-level role develops skills in setting-up, operating and inspecting precision engineering equipment, initially on manual machines, progressing to CNC.

You’ll study and work 42–45 months, with off-the-job training, attendance at CECAMM, Maths/English requirements, and a 37.5-hour week schedule. Wage starts at £11.50 per hour.
